Answers to questions in 123 Send section:
1. Which merchant numbers can be programmed into a terminal?
123 Send can provide terminals to Natwest Streamline, Barclays Business, The Bank of Scotland and Lloyds Cardnet merchants. Therefore electronic merchant numbers issued by any of these acquiring banks can be programmed into the terminals. N.B. If you accept cards in an 'on line' E commerce environment only, you may need to apply to your acquirer for a separate merchant account to accept card payments on a standard card payment terminal. American Express and Diners Club merchant numbers can also be programmed into the terminals if applicable.
2. What is the minimum time needed to place an order?
The minimum notice required is 7 working days prior to despatch, however please give as much notice as possible. Orders booked within 7 days of despatch are subject to an express order fee and are also subject to availability.
3. Once you receive my paperwork, how long will it be before I receive my terminal?
As standard, you will receive your terminal within 7 working days of us receiving your completed order.
4. Are any payments taken prior to the despatch of the terminal?
Yes - We take the set up fee, payments for any accessories and the purchase price of the terminal (if applicable) when we receive your completed paperwork. This can be paid by credit or debit card, cheque or BACS.
5. What is supplied as standard with a terminal?
A terminal is supplied with one till roll, a mains charger and full instructions.

7. Can I add to my order after I have sent my forms back?
Yes - As long as your terminal has not been despatched. Please e-mail orders@123send.net. You will receive a reply to confirm that your request has been actioned.
8. Is there an express order service available?
Yes - If you require your terminal within 7 days, you can pay an express order fee, subject to availability. Please contact 123 Send for more details.
9. How will my terminal be delivered?
Your terminal will be delivered by a courier.
10. What time are terminals usually delivered?
Terminals are delivered between 8am and 6pm on weekdays as standard. Pre midday deliveries are also available for an additional fee.
11. What happens if I am out when my terminal is delivered?
The courier will leave a card, you should call the number on this card and re arrange delivery. If you do not call the courier your terminal will be returned to 123 Send and there will be an additional cost for re delivery.
12. Can terminals be delivered on a weekend?
Yes - 123 Send can deliver on Saturdays, although not Sundays, subject to an additional fee.
13. Can terminals be delivered to addresses outside the UK?
Yes - please contact 123 Send for further details.
14. What do I need to do to set my terminal up once I receive it?
You simply need to charge the terminal for 4 hours and carry out a test transaction, it is then ready to use.
15. How do I order accessories once I have my terminal?
Please call the 123 Send sales office between 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
16. Can I check the coverage in a particular area before I attend?

17. Can I change the network the terminal is on?
When you receive your terminal you should carry out a test transaction, this will confirm that your terminal is picking up the GPRS network at that time. If your terminal is not picking up network you should contact us within 5 days of receiving your terminal and we will arrange to swap the network to our other supplier (Vodafone or 02) free of charge. If you wish to swap networks after this time there will be an additional charge.
18. Can I use the Terminal outside of UK?

19. Is there any technical support available once I have the terminal?
Yes - 123 Send have a technical helpdesk on hand to answer any technical queries you may have 365 days of the year. Click here for technical support.
20. How long is the battery life of the terminal?
The battery will deliver approximately 200 transactions per charge. The battery will hold its charge for several days whilst switched off.
21. When will the money from my transactions be deposited into my account?
You will receive the funds in your designated bank account 3 working days after processing the transaction.
22. What happens if the unit is lost or stolen?

23. Do you supply insurance for the terminal?
No - unfortunately we are unable to supply insurance.
24. Do you supply a back up paper machine?
No - 123 Send do not supply paper 'back up' machines. Please contact your acquirer if you require one.
