Accepting Card Payments
If you do not currently accept card payments and wish to do so, the first thing you need to do is speak to 123 to set up a 'Merchant Service Account'.* The role of a merchant service provider, or acquirer, is to process the credit and debit card transactions on your behalf. The acquirer ensures the funds are available on the card being used for any transaction, and manages the whole process through to settlement of payments into your bank account - all in just 3–4 working days!
123 have a fully accredited sales team who can talk you through every step of this process; We can advise you on merchant service fees and help you to complete all of the relevant application forms, and we’ll be there to help you all the way through to the delivery of your Mobile terminal, and beyond.
