New to taking credit card payments?
If you don't currently accept card payments and wish to do so, the first thing you need to do is speak to 123 to set up a 'Merchant Service Account'. The role of a merchant service provider, or acquirer, is to process the credit and debit card transactions on your behalf. The acquirer ensures the funds are available on the card being used for any transaction, and manages the whole process through to settlement of payments into your bank account - all in just 3–4 working days!
123 have a fully accredited sales team who can talk you through this process so that you can take credit card payment from your customers using a 123Send card processing machine. We can advise you on merchant service fees and card payment processing. We'll help you complete the application forms and assist you right through to the delivery of your card processing terminal(s).
